Commune of Bobo-Dioulasso

Bobo-Dioulasso is the economic capital of Burkina Faso, and is the country’s second largest city. The region has a tropical climate, with a dry season between October and April, and a wet season between May and September.  As a vibrant rich West African city, Bobo-Dioulasso is home to diverse cultures, and historical architecture that speaks to its Islamic heritage. Lively markets are lined with spices, textiles and handmade pottery, jewelry and crafts.
