About
Resource summary
The Scaling-up and Empowering Movements for Climate Change Advocacy (SEMCCA) project worked with three African cities (Lusaka, Lagos and Kisumu) to co-create robust and strategic collective movements for climate action by fostering strong and effective collaboration between civil society organisations and their local governments to improve water systems, food security and urban mobility. This series of Process Stories explores CSO-local government collaboration, embeddedness in regional and international movements, institutional culture reform as an enabler of participation, and strategies for enacting meaningful, just climate action in African cities.
