ICLEI Africa — in partnership with the City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality and South African Local Government Association (SALGA) — is calling on companies with an operational presence, or ambition to expand its footprint, in the Gauteng City-Region to submit business innovative solutions, addressing the Sustainability Challenge of solid waste management, circular value chains and clean public spaces.
Successful companies will be officially invited to participate in ICLEI Africa’s trademark City-Business Collaboration Accelerator (CiBiX) in a workshop to be held in Johannesburg on 17 October 2025. The CiBiX Workshop is designed to foster constructive dialogue, mutual learning and potential collaboration between the City of Johannesburg and participating businesses around the Sustainability Challenge.
