Policy Roadmap for Enhancing Availability of Electricity Suitable for Sustained Use of eCooking In Informal Settlements in Uganda

This policy roadmap has been developed by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development (MEMD) with support from ICLEI Africa. It forms part of the Enabling Electricity Gains for Informal Settlements work package under the ENACT-US programme, which seeks to strengthen electricity access as a foundation for sustained electric cooking (eCooking) adoption in informal settlements across the Greater Kampala Metropolitan Area.
