Meet the 2024-2027 ICLEI Africa Regional Executive Committee
We are thrilled to introduce our newly elected Regional Executive Committee (RexCom) members for the 2024-2027 term. These dedicated individuals will play a pivotal role in leading us towards a more sustainable future, both locally and globally. Join us in welcoming them with open arms and immense gratitude for their commitment to advancing ICLEI’s sustainability initiatives.
The RexCom is at the forefront of ICLEI’s governance structure, providing high-level strategic leadership and direction to all our activities. Comprising political leaders from our Member municipalities across the African region, each RexCom Member holds the responsibility to represent their municipality, advocate for local and regional governments on various platforms, address critical issues, and support the implementation of the ICLEI Strategic Plan.
We are confident that their leadership and expertise will be instrumental in advancing ICLEI’s sustainability initiatives. Together, we are committed to building a more sustainable and resilient future for all.
Stay tuned for more updates and initiatives led by our RexCom as we work hand-in-hand towards a brighter tomorrow!
