New mural in Dar es Salaam gets people talking about urban nature

Heatwaves are inevitable. Their detriment to city dwellers is not.

Unprecedented heatwaves are taking place around the world, but cities need not fall victim to them. ICLEI Africa has contributed to a new resource by the Red Cross Crescent Climate Centre, which will help cities prepare for and deal with heatwaves in affordable, tangible ways. Ultimately, this will contribute to more climate resilient cities.
