Romy is a climate policy consultant and researcher with two decades of experience advancing Africa’s climate-resilient, low-emissions development. Her work focuses on sustainable, integrated natural resource governance and research to inform evidence-based policymaking. She collaborates with national governments, regional economic communities, and African continental organisations to embed long-term climate strategies into development frameworks. Romy is dedicated to amplifying the voices of Africa’s most vulnerable populations, including smallholder farmers, youth and women, through capacity building, education and storytelling. Her expertise lies in designing tools and conducting research that strengthens inclusive policy processes and promotes equitable, sustainable climate solutions.
